SHAPED BY HAND
Every pot is formed entirely by hand from premium Duan Ni clay, in the Yixing tradition. The fine tool work and small asymmetries are the signature of a piece that was made, not manufactured — no two come out quite the same.
SCULPTURE ON THE LID
The lid is modeled as a lotus seed pod, each seed set in its socket, with a small frog perched at the rim. It is the classic frog-and-lotus motif of Yixing teaware, rendered in enough detail to reward a close look every time you brew.
CARVED ON EVERY SIDE
The lotus does not stop at the lid. Leaf veins run the full body, the handle curls like a cut stem, and small sculpted buds trail along the back where only the pourer will find them. The detail holds from any angle you set it down.
A CLAY THAT SEASONS
Yixing purple clay is prized in traditional tea culture for the way its porous body interacts with tea, gradually seasoning with regular use. Dedicate the pot to a favorite tea and it becomes more yours with every session.
