A support tripod for long glass, not a travel tripod. Removing the center column takes the flex out of the middle of the tripod and drops the camera low, so a heavy telephoto or a spotting scope sits on three legs and nothing else. The legs are 10-layer interwoven carbon fiber, and a 75mm bowl on top lets a fluid or gimbal head level without re-setting the legs. At 3kg it is built to stay put — that mass is part of what steadies a long lens in wind — and it folds to 65cm to travel in a bag.
